LNP Platforms LLC (a Mississippi limited liability company) runs the customer relationship management software that businesses and their marketing agencies use at app.lnpplatforms.com and at the agency addresses built on it (such as app.gelpstrategies.com and app.getcoastcustomers.com). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. In this policy "we" means LNP Platforms, "customer" means a business that has an account, and "you" means anyone whose information passes through the software.
1. Who is responsible for what
Our customers decide what contact, sales and marketing information they put into their accounts and how they use it. For that information we act on the customer's behalf. For account logins, billing and the connections described below, we decide how the information is handled.
2. What we collect
- Account information: names, email addresses, phone numbers, roles and login records for the people who use the software.
- Customer data: the contacts, organizations, messages, files, invoices, appointments and other records a customer stores in its account.
- Connected social accounts: when a customer connects Facebook or Instagram, we receive the Facebook user ID of the person who connected, the names, IDs and profile pictures of the Facebook Pages and Instagram business accounts they choose, and access tokens that let the software publish to those Pages and accounts.
- Posts: the text, pictures, videos, links and schedule of social posts the customer writes in the social planner, and the IDs and links Facebook and Instagram return once they're published.
- Usage and device information: pages visited in the app, error reports, IP address and browser type, used to keep the service secure and working.
3. How we use Facebook and Instagram data
We use the data from a connected Facebook Page or Instagram account only to show the customer which accounts are connected and to publish the posts the customer creates and schedules, at the time they choose, and to show them whether each post went out. We do not read private messages, we do not collect information about the followers of a Page, we do not use the data for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with data brokers. Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest in our database, are never shown in the app and are only used by the publishing service.
4. How we use everything else
- To provide, secure and support the software.
- To send the emails and notifications a customer sets up, such as proposals, invoices, booking confirmations and automations.
- To process payments through Stripe when a customer takes payments.
- To fix problems and improve features.
5. Who we share it with
We use a small set of service providers to run the software: Supabase (database, file storage and logins), Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payments) and Meta (publishing to Facebook and Instagram, only for customers who connect them). Each receives only what it needs to do that job. We share information when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
6. How long we keep it
We keep customer data while the account is active. When a connected social account is removed, its access token is deleted right away. When a customer closes its account, we delete its data within 90 days unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Published posts stay on Facebook and Instagram until the customer removes them there.
7. Your choices
- A customer can remove a connected Facebook Page or Instagram account at any time from Social planner, Accounts, which deletes its token.
- You can also remove the app from your Facebook settings (Settings and privacy, Settings, Apps and websites). When you do, Facebook tells us and we delete the tokens for every account you connected.
- To ask for your data to be deleted, follow the steps on our data deletion page.
- If your information is in a customer's account (for example, you are one of their contacts), ask that business first. We'll help them handle your request.
8. Security
Data travels over HTTPS, accounts are separated from each other by row level security in the database, staff permissions are role based and two step sign in is available. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll tell affected customers promptly if we learn of a breach.
9. Children
The software is for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top, and tell customers about meaningful changes.
